The vase was made of manganese glass, characteristic for the Carlsbad Moser glassworks. Unlike the typical 1920s’ products, however, it is not cut into facets but has smooth, round surface. The rounded foot gradually grows into an ovoid body whose upper third is decorated with an oroplastic frieze with the motif of amazons. The neck is widely open and its edge is decorated with a golden stripe. The vase was created around 1925 when the production of the Moser glassworks was already fully influenced by Neo-Classicism. The main share of the style’s implementation largely belonged to the young art director of the glassworks, Leo Moser. The vase is signed on the bottom by engraved sign “Made in Czechoslovakia, Moser Carlsbad”.
