This typically Art Deco decoration was inspired by the products of the famous Viennese company Goldscheider. The base is formed by a hand in a sleeve and follows in a girl’s head whose proportions – equally as some details, especially the squint eyes – are strongly altered for the sake of achieving a distinct effect. The head is covered with blue-glazed, strongly stylized curls. This decorative bust of burnt ceramic was produced in the 1930s, most probably by the company Keramia in the Moravian city of Znojmo.
