The bracelet is made of red brass, or tombac – a material containing 80 % of copper and 20 % of zinc, which was highly favored by the 19th-century jewel-making. The bracelet is formed by an oval divided into halves so that it can be attached to a hand. The outer side is set with Czech garnets of 3-4 millimeters in size, while on both sides are four gems arranged in a horizontal order. The item on display represents a high-quality Czech work originating from the latter half of the 19th century.
