The bracelet is made of red brass, or tombac – a material containing 80 % of copper and 20 % of zinc, which was highly favored by the 19th-century jewel-making. The bracelet is formed by twelve mutually interlinked parts in the shape of an oval with two drops. They are set with cut Czech garnets. The item on display represents an exceptional jeweler’s achievement originating from Bohemia and it can be dated to the latter half of the 19th century. Its design can be described as timeless.
