The rounded base, whose upper part is presented by a grassed terrain, bears a figure of a young girl wearing high black boots and clad in a rich folk costume. He holds a jug in her right hand and raises her left hand as if in greeting. The girl has an intricately tight bonnet on her head and a striking, strong make up which corresponds with the sculpture’s date of origin. It was produced of a glazed ceramics in the Duchcov porcelain manufacture. The item on display is of exceptional size and is characteristic of very intricate and rich painting on glazing.
