Stag at the Water is one of the most suggestive paintings of Lahoda’s stag series. It is painted in a very planar manner, the composition consisting of a birch at the viewer’s level, a stag on the horizon and the glistening water surface in the middle. Here, too, the artist employs the procedures of postmodernism.
