The life-size glass walking stick is made of laboratory glass. The hollow space closed with a rubber stopper can hold up to four-tenths of a liter of liquid. The designer of this artwork, Jakub Berdich, mainly had in mind that it should hold alcoholic beverages. His idea was that on a walk one should have something good to drink and, conversely, that after having that good drink a walking stick can steady its user’s walk back home.
