The alarm clock rests on four spherical legs. The case of black-dipped polished wood is prism-shaped and has a base and a rim, culminating by a low garret roof. The case is decorated with cast brass appliqués. The white varnished clock dial with Roman ciphers is protected by a convex door. The back part is also covered with a door, the sides have small glazed windows. The mechanism is of the anchor, pendulum type with quarter chime. Time is chimed into a spiral, the alarm into a bell. The item on display is a work originating from the territory of the Australian-Hungarian Empire and it can be dated to the period around 1810. The alarm clock underwent restoration and some parts are new. The alarm clock is fully functional, on which a one-year guarantee is provided.
