The necklace of the total weight of 12.3 grams is made of white gold of 585/1000 purity, i.e. 14 carats. The necklace is shaped into the form of flowers and foliage. It is decorated with engraving and set with diamonds of the transitional brilliant cut, of VS-SI 1 purity and color H, and of the total weight of 2.50 carats. It is also set with natural amethysts and natural sweet-water pearls. The provenance of the necklace on display is most probably French and the jewel is characteristic of a high-quality elaboration. Its style borders on the edge between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and it can be thus assumed that it can be dated to the period around 1920.
