The table “Heavy Sky” was designed by Jan Padrnoš for Uměleckoprůmyslové závody (Art Industry Enterprises) in 2008. Instead of the classical shape of legs, the designer used the construction composed of flat profiles of cut stainless steel which have the shape of trapezoid tapering downwards. The table board is made of blockboard and MDF (fiberboard), the surface is covered with either maple or nut veneer. The desk is foldaway, its original length of 200 cm can thus be prolonged and receive the additional 60 cm.
