The painting entitled Nr. 37 is part of the series of almost monochrome works created in 1997. Their basic painting element is Kvíčala’s characteristic undulating curve which he lays on the canvas in several colors typical for his oeuvre, while the last layer of blue coating is formed by numerous other lines that only in places reveal the bottom layers. The mysteriousness and conception make the series one of the ultimate achievements in Kvíčala’s ornamental works.
