The one of the most romantic paintings by Michal Cimala fuses the contemporary method of street art – spraying – and the impressiveness of chiaroscuro historical works. The artist himself admits his intention: to create a contemporary painting á la Schikaneder which would move the viewers from the bottom of their hearts. Here, Cimala was inspired by the industrial part of the periphery of the Prague’s Žižkov neighborhood.
