The Icon candle is the work of the chief designer of Qubus Studio, Maxim Velčovský. The artist further develops his artistic concept of casting objects in other than the usual materials. Here he opted to give the candle a Vittel bottle form. In so doing, he alludes to the absurdity of the present times, when a relatively expensive product consists of water and packaging, which in themselves are virtually worthless. By burning down the candle diminishes, as does the water level.
