“Good Water” is a cast of the bottom part of a plastic bottle, rendered in glazed porcelain. The outcome is a vessel for a variety of drinks. In his creation, the artist Maxim Velčovský plays with the idea that whereas a range of drinkware has survived from all previous cultures, nothing will be left from the contemporary “fast-food” generation. This version is decorated with the former Meissen Onion Pattern whose excessive use under the Communist regime made the motif totally profane.
