Rudolf Burda |
Rudolf Burda is dedicated to art and design of hand-blown and cast glass and metal. The works are produced under the brand “Burda Studio Art” which was founded in 1991 by Rudolf Burda. He also produces all metal moulds and special tools used to make exclusive glass objects, vases and atypical lamps in his studio. This creates limited editions and unique original pieces. Every piece is numbered, signed by the author and provided with a certificate of authenticity. He prefers pure geometric forms in his work. The resulting minimalist design is influenced by architecture and also by morphology and aesthetic of cubism, constructivism and functionalism. Endless source of inspiration is nature, its macro and microstructure.
